the dress code is yukata or jinbe
It's supposed to be cool in the room of a yakatabune boat but 45 people, including 12 of us wearing yukata, plus all you can drink beer made the air conditioner as an useless junk. Whatever you scream, it's Summer and the Summer is hot. Enjoy the light sea breeze and cool night view in a hot room with beer. That's the way to relish the Summer in a way. We call it "Fuuryu" with sweat on the forehead and armpits. We had a full course of Japanese food like sashimi, tenpura and soba noodle.
After 2 hours boat trip, we headed to a park and did easy fireworks. A great fun excepts the heat. Back home, took off sweaty yukata had been tightened my body for 6 hours then took shower and relax in a cool room. That's another pleasure of Summer.
